Freedom of information request – confirmation of withdrawal  
 
We refer to your request for access to documents under the Freedom of Information 
Act 1982 (FOI Act) relating to PFS Nominees Pty Ltd and NULIS Nominees (Australia) 
Ltd, and our letter to you dated 7 December 2018 (notice). 
 
I am an officer authorised under section 23(1) of the FOI Act to make decisions in 
relation to FOI requests. 
 
Pursuant to section 24AB(7)(a) of the FOI Act, I am writing to inform you that your 
request has been taken to be withdrawn as you did not consult the contact person 
during the consultation period in accordance with the notice.  
 
The request consultation period ran for 14 days and started on the day after you 
received the notice. The notice required you to direct your revised request or any 
questions to the contact person listed in the notice by 21 December 2018. While you 
sent a revised request on 16 December 2018 to xxxxx.xxxxx@xxxx.xxx.xx, this was not 
the contact officer specified in the notice.  
 
Next steps 
 
While your request has been taken to have been withdrawn, it is open to you to 
submit a new request for the same documents.
