I refer to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic) (the FOI Act) cited below: 
 
I would like to know under FOI the identities of the members of the selection panel, for the tender 
awarded to the architects of the New Student Precinct project; mentioned here:

Additionally, I am requesting the approximate dollar amount spent by the the university on this 
project, as at the date of this email. (The article mentioned a $229M figure, and I would like to know 
how much of that budget has yet been spent.) 
 
SEARCHES 
 
 
In  accordance  with  the  FOI  Act,  the  University  has  undertaken  a  thorough  and  diligent  search  for  the 
documents you have requested within Estate Planning and Development.  
 
In  relation  to  Part  1  of  your  request,  Estate  Planning  and  Development  have  identified  one  relevant 
document.  
 
In  relation  to  Part  2,  as  no  document  existed  in  discrete  form  relevant  to  this  part  of  the  request,  the 
University  was  able  to  create  a  document  containing  the  information  you  are  seeking  as  required  under 
section 19 of the FOI Act.  
 
DECISION 
 
 
The documents were reviewed to assess if all or part of the document contained exempt material.  I have 
decided to release both documents in full.  
 
ACCESS CHARGES 
 
Please note that access charges totalling $76.40 have been waived in relation to this request. Please find the 
documents enclosed.
