FOI REQUEST - REFERENCE NUMBER 2013-15 
I am writing to you in relation to your request dated 15 February 2013 for access to documents under 
the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act). 
I have determined that the requirements of s27A of the FOI Act make it appropriate to extend the 
period in which to make a decision in this matter by a further period of not more than 30 days. 
I confirm that I have identified a number of documents which fall within the scope of your request. 
Parts of those documents contain personal information about a third party. In accordance with s27A of 
the FOI Act, I consider that the individual concerned might reasonably wish to make a contention that 
the personal information is exempt under s47F, and that access to the information would, on balance, 
be contrary to the public interest for the purposes of subsection 11A(5). 
In making this determination, I have considered the extent to which the information is well known or 
available from publicly accessible sources, as well as other relevant matters. 
In the circumstances, I am obliged to provide that individual with a reasonable opportunity to make a 
submission in support of a contention that part of the document is exempt, and to have regard to any 
submissions that are made.   
I note that a decision in this matter is due on 27 May 2013. Having regard to the 30 day extension, the 
revised date for making a decision is 26 June 2013.
