Dear Mr Fairless
I refer to your Freedom of Information request received by Australia Post on 10 September 2020 in which
you seek access to the following documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (
"FOI Act"):
I note recent media reports indicating that Australia Post “threatened to call police unless the City of
Melbourne delivered more than 100 of Pauline Hanson's One Nation-branded stubby holders to every
apartment in a locked-down suburban public housing tower in July.”
I would like to request all written and electronic documents that relate to the delivery of these items,
including but not limited to data stored in corporate systems such as email/CRM/corporate chat platforms,
paper records, and data stored on mobile phones (including but not limited to SMS, WhatsApp and other chat
applications).
The search period is from July 2020 to present.
Australia Post wil respond to your request as soon as practicable and in any event within the statutory
period for processing your request.
Please be aware that information released under the FOI Act may later be published in a disclosure log
(subject to certain exceptions) within 10 days of a determination being made. You may wish to express a
view on this issue and to identify personal or business information that in your view may be unreasonable
t0 publish.
In accordance with the provisions of the FOI Act we will advise you of our decision within 30 days of
receipt of your request.
Yours sincerely,
Anna Oliver
