OR
iii. undergoes a seroconversion to or has a significant rise in SARS-CoV-2 neutralising or IgG antibody level (e.g. four-fold or greater rise in

We are reporting on cases of COVID-19 via the following resources:
· Daily updates: https://www.health.gov.au/news/health-alerts/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-health-alert/coronavirus-covid-19-current-situation-and-
case-numbers
· Fortnightly CDI epi report:

National notification data on COVID-19 confirmed cases is collated in the NNDSS based on notifications made to state and territory health authorities under
the provisions of their relevant public health legislation. Limited information on the method used to diagnose cases are reported in the dataset.
As the Department are custodians of these data, a request for the release of data from the NNDSS requires agreement from states and territories via the
Communicable Diseases Network Australia, and depending on the sensitivity of the data sought and proposed use ethics approval may also be required. If
you require further information regarding how to apply to access data from the NNDSS please contact the NNDSS Data Requests inbox
(xxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx au).
To ensure accurate information to appropriately address the information sought as part of this request, it is recommended that state and territory health
departments be contacted.

FW: New FOI request s 22
 [SEC=OFFICIAL:Sensitive]
Good morning s
I hope this email finds you well.
Could you please take a look at the below (and attached) FOI request. I’m just wondering if this request might be dealt with as per request s 22  (where you
suggested they send an email request to CDNA to access NNDSS, noting that S & Ts will need to be consulted, and there might be ethical or other restrictions
preventing data release) ?
Alternatively, should this request be referred directly to the S &Ts ?
Thanks in advance for your assistance with this.
Kind regards,

Good morning s
We have received the following new FOI request from
22
s 47F
 who is seeking the following:
This is a request for documents under the Freedom of Information Act. I hereby
request access to all information showing the total amount of people who have
tested positive to the SARS-COV-2 virus, with the use of the Nucleic acid/PCR
test. The statistics/documents are to be broken down into their respective
states and territories, and be up to date as of the 5th of August 2020. Please
note I am not referring to the percentage of total positive test results as this
number is not reflective of the number of people that have been tested, but the
total number of tests completed, as individuals can be tested multiple times.
Please let me know who the decision maker would be for this new request?
Kind regards
