I am replying to your email of 29 October 2020. You requested under the Freedom of Information Act that the 
VRB answer your question: “Of the 3427 cases finalized in 2019/20 what percentage of these cases resulted in 
the applicant winning their appeal either in full or in part?”  
 
The answer is that of the 3427 applications for review finalized by the VRB during the 2019-20 financial year 
53.8 per cent of these decisions resulted in the applicant winning their appeal either in full or in part. 
 
I am providing this information to answer your request outside of the FOI process in the interests of 
efficiency.
