Response to Parts A and B 
The following table sets out information relating to applications to the Administrative Appeals 
Tribunal (AAT) for review of decisions under the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 
2013 (NDIS Act) that were finalised in the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 January 2020.  
It sets out, by AAT registry, the number of applications in relation to which the AAT’s case 
management system records that, at the time the application was finalised, the applicant:  
•  was represented by a person or organisation categorised by the AAT as a legal 
representative 
•  was represented by a person or organisation not categorised by the AAT as a legal 
representative, or 
•  had no representative.  
 
Please note that an applicant can have more than one representative: the total count in the 
table is greater than the number of NDIS applications finalised in the period (1,497).
