Scope of your request
You have requested access to the following documents about the National Disability Insurance
Scheme (NDIS):
You have requested access to documents about the National Disability Insurance Scheme
(NDIS). Specifically, you requested access to:
“...information about music that include therapeutic drumming lessons is funded under the
NDIS.
As my daughters [sic] goals include long term goals of employment and particularly with a
social connection, I wish to know how stated goals in this field (ie: long term training in
radio production, sound engineering and DJing) and therapeutic drumming lessons will be
approved...
Further to this, I request information about equine therapy… As a stated goal of working
with horses in both a voluntary or paid capacity, I’d like to know how furthering my
daughter’s riding capabilities can be funded in this way.”

Processing timeframes
We received your request on 14 April 2021 and the 30-day statutory period for processing your
request commenced from the day after that date. You should therefore expect a decision from

14 May 2021. The period may be extended if we need to consult with third parties or for other reasons. We will
advise you if this happens.
