Gold Coast City Council as of 4/11/21 
 
How many people were awaiting a ceremony on the 1/6/21. 
 
Subsequently, can you please disclose how many attendees have attended ceremonies 
on the GCCC from 1/6/21 - 4/11/21 
 
 
Response: 
 
As at 12 November 2021, there were 1,908 people whose applications  for Australian 
citizenship by conferral had been approved and who were waiting to attend an Australian 
citizenship ceremony at Gold Coast City Council (QLD). 
 
As at 4 June 2021,  there were 2,998  people whose applications for Australian citizenship 
by conferral had been approved and who were waiting to attend an Australian citizenship 
ceremony at Gold Coast City Council (QLD). 
 
A total of 1,996 people acquired Australian citizenship at ceremonies conducted by Gold
