Questions: 
 
I would like to request the number of applicants who had their Citizenship application 
approved before June 18, 2021 and are now waiting to attend a ceremony in the City of 
Canterbury-Bankstown NSW. 
 
I would also like to request the number of applicants who had their citizenship ceremonies 
done last October 2021. 
 
Response: 
 
As  at 12 November 2021,  there were 1,408 people whose applications for Australian 
citizenship by conferral had been approved and who were waiting to attend an Australian 
citizenship ceremony at Canterbury-Bankstown  Council (NSW). Of these, 723 were 
approved before 18 June 2021.  
 
In October 2021, 46 people acquired Australian citizenship at ceremonies conducted by
