Freedom of Information (FOI) request - Access Decision
On 13 December 2021, the Department of Home Affairs (the Department) received a request for
access to document under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).
The purpose of this letter is to provide you with a decision on your request for access under the
FOI Act.

Scope of request
You have requested access to the following documents:
1- How many people are waiting for ceremony (with Citizenship approval) in Victoria
Park Council area as at 13 December 2021
2- How many ceremonies are conducted from 1 January 2021 til date, and number of
invites sent for each ceremony conducted in Victoria Park Council.
3- Number of Citizenship applications (of people from Victoria Park Council area)
approved each month from 1 January 2021 til date

Document in scope of request
In accordance with section 17 of the FOI Act, the Department has used its computer system
to produce one document that contains information that falls within the scope of your
request. The data produced in the document existed in the possession of the Department
on 13 December 2021 when your FOI request was received.
Note: With regards to the second part of question two, we are unable to provide the
number of invites sent for each ceremony as this data is not available through the
ordinary use of a computer system. We have instead provided the number of conferees
who attended each ceremony as per Table 1.

The decision in relation to the document in the possession of the Department which falls
within the scope of your request is as follows:
• Release one document in full
