I refer to your application made under section 30 of the
Freedom of Information Act 2016
(the Act) received by Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development Directorate (EPSDD)
on 16 January 2022.
Specifically you were seeking:
“Further to the recent request for all Development Applications Conflict of Interest Declarations
2011 to present, I am seeking all documents that detail Policies, Operating Procedures and
Internal Work Instructions relating to the treatment of Conflict of Interest Declarations 2011 to
present”
You were contacted via email by our Information Governance team on 2 February 2022,
requesting you to clarify the scope of your application and determine the specific information
sought.
Processing of your application was suspended under section 34(4) of the Act on 2 February
2022.
On 13 February 2022, your response indicated that you may only be seeking documents
relating to the processing of Development Applications.
Documents relating to the management of conflict of interest during Development Application
processing were provided to you informally on 21 January 2022, via

An additional document was provided to you by email on 21 February 2022.
Processing of your application was suspended on 21 February 2022, under section 34(4) of the
Act.
Three months has passed since your application was suspended. As EPSDD’s request for you to
clarify the scope of your application has gone unanswered, EPSDD is no longer required to deal
with this application in accordance with section 34(6)(b) of the Act. As a result of the passage of
time, and the documents already provided to you I consider that this matter has now been
closed.
It is open to you to submit a new access application at any time if you feel you have not
received the documents you were seeking.
