Could I please request the number of applicants who were approved for citizenship in or 
before July 2021 and are stil  waiting for the citizenship ceremony by Brisbane City 
Council? 
 
Response: 
 
As at 25 February 2022, there were 2,943 people whose application  for Australian 
citizenship by conferral had been approved before 1 July 2021 and who were waiting to
