Decision on your Freedom of Information request
I refer to your request received by the Department of Agriculture, Water, and the Environment
(
department) on 27 February 2022 for access under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth)
(
FOI Act) to the following documents:
‘Under the FOI Act I request a copy of your HR delegations. By 'HR delegations' I mean
any instrument of delegation under the Public Service Act 1999 and subordinate
legislation including the PS Regulations, PS Commissioner's Directions etc.
I do not require any personal information within those documents. You may redact any
personal names from the document(s). It should therefore be unnecessary for you to
consult third parties under section 47F of the FOI Act.’
My decision
The department holds three documents (totalling 216 pages) that relate to your request.
I have decided to grant you
full access to the documents.
I note that, in accordance with your request in which you have stated that personal information
is not required, personal information including names and signatures have been removed from
the documents in accordance with section 22(1)(a)(ii) of the FOI Act.
