Questions:
I would like to request the following informa ion in regards to the 189 Skilled Independent (New Zealand Stream) visa
Number of 189 Skilled Independent (New Zealand Stream) applications lodged between February 2020 and February 2022 that are stil  on hand (i.e awaiting a decision).
Caveats:
• This information is provided for the specific purpose of this request. Any other use of the information provided wil  require consideration and clearance by Data Division, and a separate request should be made to data clearance.
•  It is the responsibility of the area providing Department of Home Affairs information to external stakeholders to ensure that the disclosure is in accordance with the ABF Act, Australian Privacy Principles or other relevant legislation. 
• With regards to Immigration data, the Department’s current policy is to mask numbers which are less than five as <5, noting we are reviewing the confidentiality method for the future.
• 2021-22 figures are subject to variation. The data is sourced from our global Departmental systems. There can be delays in transmission of information, therefore data for current program year should always be considered provisional.

As at 28 February 2022, the number of Skilled - Independent (New Zealand pathway) (subclass 189) applications lodged between February 2020 and February 2022 that are still onhand is 10,963 (including primary and secondary applicants).
