Extension of time for processing your freedom of information request   
I refer to your email dated 30 May 2022 in which you request access, under the 
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth), to: 
 
a copy of the originating/ initiating court documents in the matter of Australian Competition 
and Consumer Commission v Uber B.V.  (Uber). 
 
Usually such documents are published with the ACCC Media release but not so in the 
Uber matter. Media Release 26 April 2022 
The ACCC has decided to extend the statutory time limit for processing your request 
from 30 days to 60 days to enable consultation with relevant third parties as to 
whether they object to their information being provided to you. This is al owed under 
s.15(6) of the Act. 
The due date for this decision is now 29 July 2022. 
Please advise whether you are agreeable to the ACCC notifying third parties of your 
identity, as that question is frequently asked of the ACCC when consulting. If you do 
not agree or do not respond the ACCC wil  not disclose your identity to third parties.
