Freedom of Information Request FA 22/07/01092 
1. There were less than 5 people whose applications for Australian citizenship by
conferral were approved between 18 and 21 June 2022 and who had indicated Marion
City Council (SA) as their local council.
2. As at 24 June 2022, there were 257 people whose applications for Australian
citizenship by conferral had been approved and who were waiting to attend an
Australian citizenship ceremony conducted by Marion City Council (SA).
3. As at 30 June 2022, no people had acquired Australian citizenship at a ceremony
conducted by Marion City Council (SA) in June 2022. There were 144 people who had
been invited to attend a ceremony on 2 July 2022.
4. As at 31 December 2021, there were 297 people whose applications for Australian
citizenship by conferral had been approved and who were waiting to attend an
Australian citizenship ceremony conducted by Marion City Council (SA).
