Question: 
I  would like to know the number of people waiting on citizenship ceremony in Banyule and Darebin 
city council. 
Response: 
1. As at 22 July 2022, there were 472 people whose applications for Australian citizenship by
conferral had been approved and who were waiting to attend an Australian citizenship ceremony 
conducted by Banyule City Council (VIC).
2. As at 22 July 2022, there were 424 people whose applications for Australian citizenship by
conferral had been approved and who were  waiting to attend an Australian citizenship ceremony
that had indicated Darebin City Council (VIC) as their local council.

than five as <5, noting we are reviewing the confidentiality method for the future.
