As discussed with you by telephone, the office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman (the CO) has
received a public interest disclosure under the
Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013 (PID Act) that
concerns conduct by a current (acting) and former (now retired) agency head. The CO has
referred the disclosure to the Commission’s PID mailbox requesting the consent of an authorised
officer in the Commission to allocate the PID to the Australian Public Service Commission.
Please review the information provided by the CO (below) and if you consent to the allocation to
the Commission please write to 47F
and advise her that you consent to the allocation.
Something along the following lines would be sufficient:
Dear 47F
I am an authorised officer for the purposes of the
Public Interest Disclosure Act 2013. I
consent to the allocation of the disclosure to the Australian Public Service Commission.
Please forward the relevant details to the Commission’s PID mailbox at
xxx@xxxx.xxx.xx.

If you do give consent, please copy your notice to the Commission’s PID mailbox.
