- The data may include sensitive and restricted clients.
- This data includes all Initial Liability and Permanent Impairment claims lodged in 2024 and
whether the claim had an Advocate or was self-submitted at the time of lodgment.
- Advocate submission includes Ex-Service Organisations (ESO), legal entities, family
members/friends, and Fee-for-Service Advocates, however systematic, reliable data is not
currently col ected by DVA to be able to distinguish between these distinct Advocate types.
As such further breakdown isolating Fee-for-Service/legal advocates cannot be provided (
as
requested partly within the FOI)
- Residential state is the latest known client address to DVA as at 25 September 2025. This
may not be a client’s current address or the location in which the client resided when the
claim was submitted.
