Notice of third-party consultation
I refer to your request to the eSafety Commissioner (eSafety) on 12 August 2025 for access to
documents under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act).
Upon reviewing the documents relevant to your request, I have identified information relating
to third parties who may wish to contend that the information is exempt from disclosure under
section 27 (business documents) and/or 27A (personal privacy) of the FOI Act.
Timeframe for processing
To enable this third-party consultation to take place, the statutory time period for deciding
your request has been extended by 30 days in accordance with subsection 15(6) of the FOI Act.
This means that a decision on your request is now due by 11 October 2025.
