Decision on your Freedom of Information request 
 
I refer to your request, dated 11 December 2025 and received by the Department of Climate 
Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (department) on 11 December 2025 for access 
under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act) to the following documents: 
 
‘I am seeking the correspondence first sent by Telstra Corporation to the department, 
where Telstra provides the information required to meet its 2023/24 reporting 
obligations. 
 
To assist the department search, the email would most likely be sent by Jessica Rowe, it 
must exist after the 1 July 2024. However, if the PDS signing was backdated the email 
may have been provided no latter than 15 October 2025. 
 
We agree to the removal of personal and confidential information under section 22 of the 
FOI Act.’
