Freedom of Information request for documents in relation to illegal parking at Tarneit 
Railway Station, V/Line staff duty-of-care and complaint handling, CCTV footage 
between 9:10-9:30am of a cyclist forced off a bike path, and maintenance of access 
roads 
 
I acknowledge receipt of your Freedom of Information (FOI) request. FOI fees and charges 
will be waived on the basis of your e-mail received on 12 February 2018 stating that you are 
entitled to a health care card. 
 
Please note that PTV does not compile or manage any CCTV footage from the public 
transport network. In order for PTV to make further enquiries, please advise on the date for 
which CCTV footage is required. 
 
A search for documents relevant to your request is now being undertaken. You will be 
advised of my decision as soon as possible, and in any case within 30 days of receipt of your 
request. A period of 45 days applies if consultation is required under section 29, 29A, 31, 
31A, 33, 34, or 35 of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic) (the Act).  
 
Please note that as part of the consultation process, your name and the subject of your 
request will be disclosed to parties who can provide relevant advice about the documents 
captured by your request. 
 
If an extension of time is required, I will write to you before the due date to seek your 
approval for an extension of time in accordance with the Act.
