Dear Ms Garrick,
Your application under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act)
On 27 July 2018 we received your application for the following information under the GIPA Act:
'Please provide documents in any form relating to any emissions or gas leaks
coming from the Rozelle Goods Yard from beginning of April to the end of May
2017.
Residents living adjacent to the Rozelle Goods Yard could smell extremely noxious
odours coming from the site after an area had been excavated in April 2017.'
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) receives and acknowledges applications for access to information
under the GIPA Act on behalf of the relevant transport agencies. Your application will be
processed by RMS.
The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act) enables members of the public
to apply for access to government information.
However, an application under the GIPA Act is only valid if it:
(a)
is in writing, sent to or lodged at an office of the agency concerned;(b)
clearly
indicates that it is an access application made under the GIPA Act;
(c)
is accompanied by a fee of $30;
(d)
states a postal address as the address for correspondence in connection
with the application; and
(e)
includes such information as is reasonably necessary to enable the government
information applied for to be identified.

working days to apply for an external review by the NSW Information Commissioner or the NCAT.
