I refer to your request dated 14 December 2019, which was received by WorkSafe on 14 December 
2019, seeking access to Victorian annual statistics from 2000 for the following: 
 
1. The annual number of substantiated or accepted complaints/claims as being work-related injuries 
for Victorian workers. 
 
2. The annual number for substantiated or accepted as being work-related injuries for: "psychological 
injuries" and "physical injuries". The two figures wil  reconcile with the figures in point 1. 
 
3. The annual number of complaints - that were not substantiated or accepted - as being work-
related injuries for Victorian workers. 
 
4. The annual number for complaints - that were not substantiated or accepted - as being work 
related for: "psychological injuries" and "physical injuries". The two figures wil  reconcile with the 
figures in point. 
 
Following a thorough and diligent search of WorkSafe’s record management systems, databases and 
relevant business records, I have attached copies of all documentation held by WorkSafe.
