The Children and Young People Commissioner (CYPC) has a number of roles, including:
-Consulting with young people
-Resolving complaints and concerns about services for children and young people
-providing advice to government and community organisations about how to improve children and young people services.

Put simply, the role of the CYPC is to help make Canberra a better place for children and young people.
