The Deemed Disease Review Panel is established by the Minister for Industrial Relations to assist WorkCover Queensland in determining the total number of years that the firefighter can be considered to have actively attended fires during their employment as a firefighter for the purpose of section 36E of the Workers' Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (the Act).
