The Tasmanian Planning Commission is an independent statutory body established under the Tasmanian Planning Commission Act 1997. It assesses and reports on changes to planning schemes; reviews reports on draft management plans; advises and supports the Minister for Planning and Local Government, and councils on planning matters; and, delivers and supports strategic planning projects.
