Tasmanian State Protocol Office

A Tasmanian authority

The State Protocol Office is responsible for the management of official visits, State receptions and functions, the co-ordination of honours and award nominations, and the Premier's Long Service Awards. The Office arranges for the sending of congratulatory messages to Tasmanians celebrating their 90th, 100th and 100th+ birthdays, and for Tasmanian couples celebrating wedding anniversaries of 50, 60 years and 60+ years. The Office is also responsible for Tasmanian flags for loan or presentation. Administrative support for the State's representatives on the Council for the Order of Australia and the Australian Bravery Decorations Council is also provided.
