Dear Macquarie University,

Could you please send the relevant policies, procedures and documents regarding contract cheating since the MyMaster case? Such as the definition, penalties, procedural fairness, training and support for staff.

And the polices to promote academic integrity and the measures to minimise academic misconduct, including the education, cultural awareness cultivation, assessment design and English support for international students.

If possible, please treat this as an administrative/ informal request. Otherwise please proceed with my request as a formal information request under the Act.

We have received your 4 Jun 2018 request for information about University policies, activities and strategies designed to promote academic integrity. I am able to provide the following information in response to your informal request.

The Student Code of Conduct was updated in Jul 2017 and can be accessed here

The Academic Integrity Policy approved in February 2018 can be accessed here

You may consider making a formal application for access to University information under the NSW Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (the GIPA Act).

However, the GIPA Act provides for an application fee of
$30 which needs to be paid before the application is processed. Information about the fee, and applications in general, is available here
