Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,

I wish for all the traffic data used to plan the Sumners Road Interchange Upgrade to be released so the public can make sense of the plan and why the money was spent to upgrade this section of road.

The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (the department),
publishes a traffic census for the Queensland state-declared road network
showing annual average traffic counts and heavy vehicle counts at:

Road).

 

Other information relating to the Sumners Road Interchange upgrade is

However, if there is additional information that you would like to

information you are seeking.

 

If we are not able to provide the information administratively, you can
apply for access to documents held by the department under the Right to
Information Act 2009 (RTI Act).

Whilst the RTI Act is intended to provide a right of access to information
held by government, this right of access is subject to the grounds for
refusal which include public interest considerations.  What this means is
that whilst the department meets the object of the RTI Act and provides
access to information/documents wherever possible, it does not guarantee
access to all or any parts of the relevant documents. In situations where
the proposed release of the requested documents would be considered to be
of concern to another person or entity, consultation with that person
would be required under the RTI Act.

The first two paragraphs don't have hyperlinks attached so i am unsure where they are. Could you please properly link to them so i can find them.

Also are you saying that:

1. you didn't do any independent and/or updated traffic analysis of the specific section of road/s you were planning to spend $65 million on?

2. You just went off previous annual traffic census data?
