On 6 August 2025, the Australian National University (the University)
received your request for access to documents under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).

The University has taken your request to be as follows:

I refer to your decision notice of 1 August 2025 in relation to FOI
Request 202500120.

That notice stated that relevant disclosures of interest by the Chancellor
are not made to the Vice-Chancellor or held on the Central Interest
Register, but are instead made directly to the University Secretary as
part of the annual disclosures required of all Council members. The notice
also stated that these disclosures are housed separately.

Accordingly, I wish to make a revised request under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (Cth), seeking access to any and all documents
recording disclosures of interest made by the Chancellor to the Council
Secretary or their deputies, or to the University Council, that relate to:
Murray Hansen; Vinder Consulting; and/or Julie Bishop and Partners. This
includes, but is not limited to:

• Disclosures made as part of the annual declaration of interests process
for Council members;

• Disclosures made through any other formal or informal process or
communication (including emails, handwritten notes, meeting minutes, or
other formats);

Where similar disclosures have been made on multiple occasions, I request
copies of all instances of such disclosures, including records of the
dates on which they were made.

If you require any clarification or narrowing of the scope to assist in
processing this request, I would be happy to discuss.

Your request has been assigned the case number 202500179.

Processing Timeframe

The statutory time frame for processing your request is 30 calendar days
from day after the date your request was received by the University. You
should therefore expect a decision from us by 5 September 2025.

This period of 30 days may be extended if we need to consult third
parties, impose a charge or for other reasons. We will advise you in
writing if this happens.

you would prefer us to use an alternative means of contact. If you have
any questions regarding your request, please feel free to contact the FOI

is currently at very high levels due the unprecedented volume of FOI
