This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Dear Josh,

I refer to your application under the Freedom of Information Act 1982

Due to staffing absences and an increased volume of FOI requests, pursuant
to section 15AA of the FOI Act, we kindly request a thirty (30) day
extension until Wednesday, 22 April 2015 to finalise your FOI Request.

If you could please confirm whether you agree to the above extension by
close of business Friday, 13 February 2015 that would be greatly
appreciated.

If you require any further clarification, please do not hesitate to
contact me.

Dear Josh,

I refer to my below email of yesterday’s date.

There was a typographical error in the second point of the first
paragraph. It should have read:

“Any discussions, documents, consultations or reviews between members of
the ASADA program and all media and code representatives regarding the
legalisation of any banned substances dated between December 31, 2013 and
February 18, 2015.”

I apologise for any misunderstanding this may have caused.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to make contact.

Emily Fitton, Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority

Dear Josh,

I refer to our previous correspondence in relation to your Freedom of
Information Request (‘FOI Request’), which was lodged with ASADA on
Friday, 20 February 2015.

We have now considered the terms of your FOI Request in more detail and we
are unclear what it is that you are seeking.  The request, in its present
form, could be interpreted as very broad in scope and, based on our
current understanding of your request, could also cover a significant
amount of material with is publically available (e.g. anti-doping policies
of major Australian sporting bodies such as the NRL, AFL and FFA).
Accordingly, we would like to consult with you to clarify the scope of
your request to ensure that we are clear as to what documents you
require.  Once we have a better understanding of the documents you are
seeking under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) (‘FOI Act’) we
will be in a position to process your FOI Request.

Further, in the context of refining what documents you are seeking under
the FOI Act, we would also like you to confirm whether you seek, as part
of your FOI Request:

 1. documents that are already in the public domain or otherwise
publically available;
 2. duplicates of documents;
 3. chains of emails which are not the final email in the chain; or
 4. draft documents (that is you only require final versions of
documents).

You can contact me directly by email or by phone on 02 6222 4241.
Alternatively, if you’re willing to provide your telephone details, I can
contact you directly and we can discuss these issues in more detail.

If you could please provide me with your response by COB Wednesday, 18
March 2015 that would be greatly appreciated.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if you
would like to discuss.

Regards,

Hi Josh,

I've noticed you've marked this request as awaiting a response, have you spoken with ASADA to clarify what you are looking for? If so, it would be great if you could let us know what the changes you've made are :)
