Environmental reports commissioned by TfNSW for Barton Highway Upgrade

John Connelly made this Government Information (Public Access) request to Roads and Maritime Services

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Roads and Maritime Services should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Roads and Maritime Services,
I would like to obtain the following information related to the Barton Highway Upgrade currently underway between the ACT/NSW border and the intersection of the Barton Highway and Kaveneys Road some 8km north of the ACT/NSW border.

1) List of all reports commissioned in relation to this upgrade. I need this list so I can decide which further reports to request.
2) A report commissioned some time between March and August into squirrel glider habitat in the Hall TSR. This report was undertaken by SMEC. I do not know its exact title.
3) A report known as the "GAP study" which was commissioned in regard to an area of land on the southern corner of the Kaveneys Road / Barton Highway intersection.

This report was a supplement to the main environmental report done for the upgrade

Barton Highway Safety Upgrades – Package one: Duplication of the Barton Highway from the ACT border towards Murrumbateman Biodiversity Assessment
Prepared by Niche Environment and Heritage Pty Ltd November 2019

Again I do not know the exact title of this report,
Yours faithfully, John Connelly
