Food safety inspections for the years 2014, 2015, 2016
Dear Local Council,
Can you please provide me with the number of food safety inspections carried out in your area annually, for the last three years?
How many warning were issued each year and how many fines each year?
What percentage of all food outlets did the council inspect each year?
Have any outlets been shut down for non-compliance and if so what for and how many?
What were the worst offences/biggest fines for each year?

I refer to your Informal Request for Information under the Government
Information (Public Access) Act 2009 received by Liverpool City Council on
28 October 2016. I confirm that you have requested food safety
inspections for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016.
In relation to your request I inform you that dealing with this request
would require a substantial diversion of Council resources.
The information you are requesting is supplied by Council to the NSW Food
Authority on an annual basis. Therefore, Council’s Environmental Health
Team Leader, Steven Tuntevski has advised that the information you are
requesting can be obtained from the NSW Food Authority.
Your Informal Request has now been processed and so Council has now closed
its file in this matter.
