Information on wellbeing services for officers
Dear NSW Police Force,
I am seeking the following information:
- The current number of mental health clinicians funded under the PULSE program
- The police area commands these clinicians are located in
- The number of visits these mental health clinicians have undertaken to stations to provide in person support to police after traumatic events and the stations visited since commencement of the PULSE program
- The number of periodic visits to stations for informal interactions and support provided under the PULSE program and the stations visited
- Any internal reviews, evaluations and/or audits of the PULSE program
- The number of 'your health first' training workshops delivered during 2025, the total number of staff that have attended these workshops and the stations these workshops were located
- The number of employees who have sought reimbursement under the Early Access Treatment initiative during 2025
- The number of staff who have participated in the RECON rehabilitation program during 2025
- The number of reports made through the online 'safe reporting' portal during 2025
- The current number of Recover at Work advisors and the number of in-house rehabilitation and treatment services that have been provided during 2025
- The number of periodic health assessments undertaken during 2025 and the stations these were located
- The status of the implementation of the new incident notification reporting system
- A copy of the NSWPF Psychosocial Risk Management Framework
- Copies of reports by safety committees on causal factors leading to psychological incidents from 2025
- The current number of Family Support Officers employed in the NSW Police Family Support Program
- The number of Family Connect Days held during 2025 and the locations
- The number of people who contacted the Family Support service during 2025
- The current number of subscribers the the quarterly Family Support Newsletter
- Copies of all the 2024 and 2025 Family Support Newsletters

Thank you for your inquiry to the NSW Police Force.
In order to make a request for NSW Police Force information, an applicant is required to submit a 'Formal Access' application under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
The New South Wales Police Force accept applications for access to information online through the NSW Police Force Community Portal Simply select the Access to Information card under the I want to apply section on the homepage and follow the questions presented.

What you need to lodge online
• You will need to validate your email address using a verification code sent to your email account to commence an online GIPA Application.
• You will need to pay the $30 Application fee via credit card on the secure online portal.
• You may need to verify your identity online via the Document Verification Service.
• You will need to specify the records / documents that you are requesting.
• You may need to upload document/s validating that you are authorised to act on behalf of another person.

What to expect
• You will receive a notification within 5 working days to advise whether your application has been accepted as a valid application.
• You will receive a Notice of Decision on the outcome of your application within 20 working days after we receive your application.
Alternatively, you may submit a manual GIPA application sent via Mail, however this may lengthen the process due to time delays in receiving your mailed application.
