By law, the Sydney Trains authority should normally have responded promptly and by December 30, 2015 to my request for information about train noise in the vicinity of the viaduct entering the tunnel at Woolloomooloo

• If the incident involves yourself and anyone else, please describe what you or other people were wearing at the time

Such a description can sometimes help the SMF identify the relevant CCTV footage.

I have received a response from the relevant business area within Sydney
Trains in relation to your request. I am advised that there is no
information available which would be considered suitable for informal
release under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA
Act) concerning ‘noise by trains entering/exiting tunnel for Kings Cross
Station’.

 

However, you are welcome to make a formal access application under the
GIPA Act in this regard. To do so, you will need to be specific about the
