Official use of Qantas Chairman's lounge
Dear Australian Public Service Commission,
I would like to request the following documents by way of the Freedom of Information Act (Commonwealth).
The scope of this request is all executive employees who held a membership to the Qantas Chairmans Lounge or the Virgins Beyond Lounge, at any time during the period 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025.
Please provide, for this same period:
1. Any documents that detail official work completed during any attendance at one of the above-mentioned airline lounges. This could include for example meeting invites, meeting notes, agenda items, etc
2. All documents showing flight details where the departure or arrival airport has either of the above-mentioned lounges.
3. All documents detailing any meal allowances paid to the executive employee in respect of travel undertaken on the above flights.
For privacy reasons I am happy for the dates and locations (ie. airports) be redacted, providing the documents are labelled or ordered in such a way that the flights can be connected with any related meal allowance (if applicable).
Please let me know if you have any questions or there is anything I can offer to assist in the efficient processing of this request.

Scope of Request
We understand you have confined the scope of your FOI request to all
executive employees who held a membership to the Qantas Chairmans Lounge
or the Virgins Beyond Lounge, at any time during the period 1 July 2024 -
30 June 2025 (the Request). In order for us to process your request, could
you please provide more information on the specific kinds of documents you
are seeking in relation to paragraph [1] of your Request?
Could you please also confirm your consent for the Commission to:
· exclude all email addresses, contact details, and names of any
staff below SES level from the scope of your request;
· exclude duplicate documents; and
· include only final email chains;
in the scope of your request.

Timeframe
The timeframe for responding to your request is 30 days from the date of
receipt. Therefore, the due date for this request is 4 August 2025.
This timeframe may be extended in certain circumstances. You will be
notified if these circumstances arise and the timeframe is extended.

Request for extension
A decision is due to you on 4 August 2025. Section 15AA of the FOI Act
allows an agency to extend the due date of the request by no more than 30
days with the written agreement from the Applicant.
As a result of our enquiries, we have identified additional documents
that may be within scope of your request, some of which will require a few
extra days to consult with the affected person. For an abundance of
