Religious Discrimination in Tasmanian Public Schools

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Department for Education, Children and Young People should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Tasmanian Department of Education,

I am seeking access to information under the Right to Information Act, specifically:

1. Correspondence (from 1 December 2020 to date) to and from the Equal Opportunity Commission concerning school chaplains in Tasmanian schools.

2. . Any documents (including briefing materials) created after 1 December 2020 relating to criteria by which persons are recruited to be chaplains in Tasmanian schools.

Yours faithfully,

Meredith Doig
