Requests from employer unions for meetings

We're waiting for Paul Williams to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Australian Public Service Commission,

This is a request for information under the FOI Act.

I seek all documents as described below:

1. All requests for meetings between registered unions (such as the CPSU) and the APSC, other than scheduled bargaining meetings to which employee/individual bargaining representatives were also invited.
2. Any responses the APSC provided to any such requests identified in the above (1).
3. Any meetings notes or other documents created that make reference to any meetings identified in (1) above.

I exclude from scope the names and contact details of any individuals identified on relevant documents, except for APS staff at or above the EL2 level at the relevant time. The name of the registered unions are to be excluded in scope of this request.

I am writing to notify you that the scope of your recent FOI request
includes one or more documents containing personal information about one
or more third parties. In accordance with sections 27 and 27A of the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act), the Commission is required to
consult with relevant third parties about the disclosure of their personal
information.

 

The timeframe for responding to your request is therefore extended by 30
days under subsection 15(6) of the FOI Act to 12 February 2024 (with the
actual due date falling the preceding Sunday).
