Seeking evidence and transparency on direct appointments and staff mapping to roles in the DVCA Change Proposal.

Currently waiting for a response from Australian National University, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear Australian National University,

It was stated in the DVCA Academic Change Proposal, that it is "a designed plan. It draws on sector benchmarking, ANU service catalogues, and consultation with General Managers, Deans and ADE's".

It was also communicated, at the July 31 townhall, that it had been "stress-tested through consultation and the RENEW ANU Program Board".

- I seek a release of said evidence and testing.

To ensure there is no perception of nepotism, to allow transparency of process, and to provide insight to the University community to provide genuine consultative feedback, l, I also ask for:
1. access to the position descriptions of roles created and new roles with direct appointments made (as they were on the 31st July) and evidence of their use.
2. any records showing merit-based selection occurred, and if not, why it did not.
3. evidence of consultation with proposed affected staff to establish their current roles and their suitability for appointment to new roles.

To ensure the university has complied with its own Procedure: Appointments, the above must be provided to ensure no breach in point 1. All appointments are undertaken in a fair and transparent manner.

Yours faithfully,

notmyname
