Vip aircraft
Dear Department of Defence,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 the request is an application for the purposes of this Act. I want to make the following requests for information (I hope this is clear enough)
For the 2 vip RAAF airciraft the Boeing Business jet & Falcon 7X
1. what is the layout of the vip section and what furniture/seats (number of) are in each area i.e bedroom, office, executive seating .
3.how many crew would there be on a typical flight e.g flight stewards, mechanics and pilots.
4. in the rest of the planes configuration how many first class, business class and economy class seats are there ?
As was advised from your previously rejected request that I was not detailed enough. This information regarding the layouts can be found in aircraft manuals. information about crew can be found from flight manifests so it would be these documents.
the response can be sent to me electronically through https://www.righttoknow.org.au/ website. this was not asked of me from my previous request to you FOI 141/19/20
Yours faithfully,
alan cole
OFFICIAL
Dear Alan Cole,
Thank you for your providing further information in regard to your inquiry.
Unfortunately, while we understand you are seeking information relating to the specifications of the Special Purpose Aircraft fleet (i.e. the Boeing Business Jets and Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft), in order for your request to be valid under the FOI Act, you must explicitly state the documents that you are seeking access to.
In order to assist you to make a valid request for documents, you may consider revising your request to be for "The aircraft flight manuals of the Boeing Business Jet and Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft".
If you wish to seek access to a flight manifest, we recommend that you provide details of the specific voyage you would like the official manifest of. Without providing detail of a particular flight, your request may be considered voluminous and constitute reasons for practical refusal under section 24AA of the FOI Act.
Finally, while considering your inquiry, we have identified that some of the information you are seeking (i.e. standard crew numbers) is publicly available on our website: https://www.defence.gov.au/defence-activ....
If you respond to this correspondence with a valid request for documents, we will commence processing it. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
