Dear FOI,

Thank-you for your email. While I am always mindful to be as helpful and accommodating to department FOI staff who do a great job, I am not of a mind to grant a further 30 day extension to a request that does not involve third party consultation and is not complex or voluminous. This FOI is seeking a section of a document that is in existence and that Home Affairs produced for Senate Estimates, the request even included the document title and PDMS number. So I have to refuse your request for an extension beyond the 30 days set out in legislation.

Yours sincerely,

Oliver Smith
