Australian National Audit Office

Part of the Prime Minister portfolio and a Federal authority, also called ANAO

The purpose of the Australian National Audit Office is to provide the Parliament with an independent assessment of selected areas of public administration, and assurance about public sector financial reporting, administration, and accountability. We do this primarily by conducting performance audits, financial statement audits, and assurance reviews.

This authority is not obliged to respond to your request under FOI, but we feel it should be.
