I have received your request for information however, I am unclear on the exact scope of what it is you are requesting.

You have requested:

"a document outlining the current expected date for:
1. instructions to commence detailed design and field inspection work; and
2. instructions to commence construction work,

to be issued to NBN Co's delivery partners in relation to the Brownfields Fibre build in the 2CYS Fibre Serving Area."

Your request appears to include documents related to forecast dates i.e "current expected date..", rather than actual dates instructions were issued to commence the relevant work streams.

I also wanted to draw your attention to a recent decision I issued and related to a similar request for "instructions to commence detailed design and inspection work" - https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/6.... While I am not making a determination nor have I examined the relevant documents in connection to your request, I thought it might be helpful for you to understand the reasons given for not releasing those documents in that instance.

As you will undoubtedly be aware, processing charges may be imposed in connection to an FOI request and a factor that can increase the charges is the search and retrieval time, and the time taken to review the results of the searches. With this in mind I wanted to provide you with the opportunity to narrow the scope of your request and also to review a recent NBN Co decision in relation to documents of a similar nature.

The legislative timeframes for completing this FOI request will not commence until such time as I am clear on exactly what it is that you are seeking.
