Dear Airservices Australia,

I am led to believe the following:
• Pilots seek permission from Air Traffic Control to dump fuel from the aircraft.
• The Civil Aviation Safety Authority and Airservices Australia enforce strict procedures on when and where fuel jettisoning can occur.

Please provide all documents from between 1 Jan 2019 and 1 Jan 2024 where permission was granted to jettison fuel from an aircraft travelling to or from Hobart TAS within a radius of 60km of Hobart Airport.

Yours faithfully,

Cathy Minnucci

Dear Airservices Australia,

I refer to my FOI request.
I have received no information regarding this.
This is now overdue!!

Air Traffic Controllers are employees of Airservices Australia.
As mentioned,
I am led to believe the following:
• Pilots seek permission from Air Traffic Control to dump fuel from the aircraft.
• The Civil Aviation Safety Authority and Airservices Australia enforce strict procedures on when and where fuel jettisoning can occur.

Concentrated kerosene emissions have been noticed in the air in the exhaust of a passing domestic planes over our community. The planes are too LOW and this is a HEALTH ISSUE.

Is there a problem with this request for relevant documentation? Please advise.

Yours faithfully,
Cathy Minnucci
