Dear Victoria Police,
I am seeking all policies, procedures and guidelines in relation to how decisions are made with regards to the Voluntary Disclosure Forms (VDF) for criminal records - that is, VDF submitted by people interested in joining Victoria Police.
I am seeking clarity around how Victoria Police makes decisions in relation to criminal records and what they determine as acceptable and unacceptable, more than what is publicly available on the police careers website.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic this office is experiencing
significant delays in responding to requests and correspondence sent via
post. We strongly suggest making your request through the online portal
(via the link below) or sending any correspondence to this email address.
