All policies, procedures and guidelines relating to the assessment of criminal records submitted by way of Voluntary Disclosure Forms.

Elizabeth made this Freedom of Information request to Victoria Police

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Victoria Police,

I am seeking all policies, procedures and guidelines in relation to how decisions are made with regards to the Voluntary Disclosure Forms (VDF) for criminal records - that is, VDF submitted by people interested in joining Victoria Police.

I am seeking clarity around how Victoria Police makes decisions in relation to criminal records and what they determine as acceptable and unacceptable, more than what is publicly available on the police careers website.

Yours faithfully,
Elizabeth
