Ayers Rock Resort - Minister/NIAA briefs, QTBs, Senate Estimates and NIAA–ILSC correspondence (1 Jan 2024–present)
Dear National Indigenous Australians Agency,
Under the FOI Act 1982, I seek access to:
• Ministerial briefs, submissions, talking points, and Senate Estimates briefs about Ayers Rock Resort performance, impairments and the decision to launch a sale process (1 Jan 2024 – present).
• Correspondence between NIAA and ILSC about the resort’s performance and sale in the same period.
• Any directions to, or consultations with, the ILSC in relation to the resort under portfolio or PGPA settings.
I also seek official documents of the Minister within the meaning of the Act. Please provide edited copies under s 22 where needed. If scope is broad, please start s 24AB consultation. Public‑interest charges waiver requested under s 29(5) with s 11B(3) factors.

(NIAA) for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act 1982
(FOI Act).

Information out of scope
The NIAA considers the names and contact details of Commonwealth staff not
in the Senior Executive Service (SES), such as Australian Public Service
(APS) officers, and other personal details of all Commonwealth staff (such
as signatures and direct phone numbers), as not relevant to the scope of a
request. Information that is irrelevant to your request will be excluded
from any documents which may be released to you.
Please note, the NIAA routinely excludes the following from documents
released in response to FOI requests:
· duplicate documents
· duplicate email chains
· publicly available documents, and
· draft or interim documents where a later version is included.
