CHW contract/s with Ballarat Excavations & Transport regarding waste water transport & disposal
Dear Central Highlands Region Water Corporation,
My name is Michael Gray and I own a property, zoned Rural Living under the Hepburn Planning Scheme, which adjoins 423 Clunes Road, Creswick. The property at 423 Clunes Road, Creswick is the business address of Ballarat Excavations & Transport.
It is my understanding that Ballarat Excavations & Transport ("BET") is operating a business from the Property in breach of the Rural Living zoning requirements by operating a truck depot, asphalting, earth moving and waste material transporting business. BET appears to be contracted to Central Highlands Water ("CHW") to transport waste material from the Ballarat South Wastewater Treatment Plant to a location in Clunes for dumping, spreading, drying and repurposing of the waste material.
I request a copy of the contract/s between CHW and BET as to the requirements for it to transport waste material with truck, and wash those trucks at the Property.
